5K

BFF & I are running a 5K in February! Running for chocolate with my BFF.....absolutely priceless! And we get to run with other friends too! Lucky gals!

Margarita fest

Went to margarita/salsa fest last night. It has grown a lot since the Ninfa's parking lot! Haha
Devin got us in and we got to meet Stoney LaRue. He's such a nice guy.



We would've met Eli Young band too, but we were too late. They did their meet and greet before 7!
It was a fun night out just me and Craig!

Happy birthday BFF!

Webster's dictionary defines a Best Friend as your friend who is closest to you. Sarah Holley Long, you by definition are my best friend.

We have been friends for an infinite number of years. You are by far my closest friend.

We have been through damn near everything together---friends coming and going, relationships good and bad, heartaches, deaths, births, we were right next to each other for our wedding days.

We have never been in a fight. I know that may be hard for some people to believe, but we haven't. You were there the night I met my future husband, hell, you are the reason I was even in Austin that night!

Today is your birthday. I wish I could be there today to help you celebrate. We live 200+ miles apart and I hate that, but we make it work. We can go without talking, but always thinking of each other. And when we see each other, it's like we didn't even skip a beat.

I hope you have a fabulous day and that you don't work too hard. I hope that I'm calling you when we are in our 80's telling you happy birthday! There is nothing that can break our bond.

Yes! we went to see New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys together in concert! yes, we had a blast. yes, we'd go again in a heartbeat!

Here we are pre-dinner. Sarah took us to a trendy restuarant right by the concert venue.

We had great seats at the AAC in Dallas.

We sang at the top of our lungs to EVERY single song! We screamed like pre-teens the whole time! I'm honestly very surprised we had voices at the end of the night! There was an after party that we wanted to go to. And, 10 years ago, we totally would've gone!

But, we decided we'd be responsible and go home. After all, Sarah has a 3 mo old that would be needing her in the middle of the night. So, getting her out at all, was a blessing!

All the boys (men) on stage!

And you know what.....for mid 30 to 40 somethings.....they are ALL HOT!!!!!!! And closer to our age now! They put on one hell of a show! We have CD's old and new and still love their voices and their music!

Bought the cd. Listening to it now. And yes, my boys are too. And they like it!

This truly is life changing.
My Chi is put away.
And I guess I can put my hair dryer away now too.

I've already decided this was not a one time deal. I'll be getting this every 3 months!

Nails

Ok. Tried this new stuff. Shellack for nails!!!! It's guaranteed not to chip for weeks. Applies like a polish, then use a UV light to seal it (only in salons)! Got it done Friday, and by now, polish would be chipped. So I think I'll definitely test this out. So far, I love it!

Embarassed

I am embarassed to say that I have a new guilty pleasure!

I've been sucked in. This show is horrible. Drinking, drinking, hook ups, more drinking. They just drink and hookup and they go to work at a t-shirt shop down by the boardwalk.

Their accents are funny to me.

It's hilarous though.

I think Jenni and Sammie are beautiful. But trashy as all get out. Fist fights, really?!

None of the guys are good looking to me. At all.

have you watched this? I haven't until this season and I'm embarassed to say that I'm hooked.

Well, I went to a breeder and this is who we met and fell in love with. We bring him home this Friday. I'm kinda freaking out!
His name is Dan, but we are thinking of changing it.
