JUNE 26th

hell yeah!!!!! they are coming! in all their hotness! OMG! I feel like I'm back in middle school! I've gone on iTunes and got all my fave NKOTB & BSB songs! Jammin' in the car! Jammin' in my classroom while my students are gone! I'm so freakin' excited! we need to see who all wants to go and just have a blast that night! I don't even care how much tickets are! hahaha! and yes, I've already told hubby that I'll be gone that night and be spening that night with you! :) This might be the bestest thing ever! ever!

Re-reading this book. Doing the fast track method with Dylan.
Which is different from Drew, so we are doing 2 different methods. Back in the day, there was one way and all kids did it that way.
We have been dabbling in it for a while. He's ready and we are hitting it hard this week. We have 5 days of no school/daycare. So I plan on knocking it out. Wish me luck.

Sunday Funday

We've had a great weekend at the Long's house. We had a lazy Saturday and I got to put my feet up and watch football while my sweet boy napped for most of the afternoon. Between going to the UT games and other activities, its been awhile since we've been able to just hang out. Sunday was even better - Ryan and I went to the Cowboy game! We were able to sit in our friends' suite, which I have decided is the only way to watch a game at Cowboy Stadium. I'm so spoiled - 3 events at the stadium and each time in the suite. I've decided that's how I roll.

I went Shopping and out to lunch with my boys. Now we are home taking naps!Craig is at the ranch. I love these weekends!

And mom got one too. Hers is so special and sweet.



This is what her and my dad had engraved in their wedding bands.
May the Lord watch between you and me while we are apart one from the other. And that is on dads headstone. Very sweet. She too has wanted that for a while, but needed a push to get it.

Remembering

This day has different meanings for us. Never the less, it's a tragic day in history.
My Aggies were touched by the class that was shown by your Longhorns during this time.
My heart aches for the families. It can't be easy for them. Their children would've graduated, gotten married and probably had kids by now. This is something they will never get over.
It's been 11 years.

divorces and engagements

NOT ME!!! LOL!
ok, seriously........

My all time, #1 favorite celebrity couple....Nick and Jessica. I loved them together. I watched their show religiously and even own the seasons on DVD! I even designed my wedding after theirs! (but you already knew that BFF!)

They are JUST like Craig and I. I was stunned and saddened when they broke up. Shocked. What went wrong?

Then this.........

Now, he's engaged to Vanessa. I don't like her at all. I don't like her name, I don't think she's all that pretty, personally! He looked better with Jessica!

And all of a sudden, less than 1 week after Nick announces he's engaged, look who also is!
Now, Eric is a hottie! Jessica has done good. She went through her fair share of douchbags (John Mayer comes to mind!).
I'm so happy for her and I hope it is her fairytale. Congrats Jessica and Eric...oh I hope his divorce is final! HA!

Haircut

Well, I was going to do locks of love today but I really don't like my hair short. They need 10 inches. Today I cut off over 4! Long layers. You like??!!

Flu shots

took boys to get flu shots today....ugh. They both cried. But survived and we went to IHOP for dinner afterwards!
Did you know that the H1N1 is now combined with the "regular" flu strain into 1 shot. Not sure how I feel about this......:}

Exhausted on Monday

well, I did it! I planned/created/mapped/designed a field trip all by myself and we went on it today! It has consumed me for the last few weeks. I know more about PF than my hubby now! hahaha! It was so great. I was actually really nervous about it this morning but got really into being the tour guide! I was on the little radio from the bus and was even a bit silly at times! It was fun. After school, I went to bootcamp which totally kicked my a$$! I even showered while Craig bathed the boys and am already ready for bed! I could completely go to sleep now and not even wake til morning! hmmm, maybe I WILL!

I love Daylight Savings...

At least the fall back part of daylight savings! I feel like I slept late but got up early. I had a slow morning snuggling and staying warm with my guys. Late breakfast and then checking out baby stuff online before we start our baby shopping day. Brady has decided that his baby needs bottles and pjs. You would think that since I'd done this baby thing once before, I'd have a better start! I'm already overwhelmed! Bottles, monitors, furniture, baby bedding (one for girl, one for boy and then we'll make the final decision in March!)

Off to spend the day with my guys!

It's about time....

I know, I know. I agreed to do this blog with my ultimate bestie in JUNE! I figure that by November 6, its time to finally do so. The perfect time to blog would have been 3 weeks ago when Kel-Kel came to Dallas and we went to see our Waco boy Wade play at the fair. We almost missed the game because we were catching up!

I'll add pics soon. And now that I can sign on - watch out! I love and miss my girl Kel and so excited to get this thing going.
